Aside from skiing and snowboarding, there are lots of ways to experience Courchevel. Try a walk through the ancient forest with snow shoes, or take to the air with a tandem paraglider! For those who enjoy shopping and relaxing, there are many boutiques in Courchevel 1850 and Moriond. Stroll around the lake of Le Praz, or try a longer hike to the beautiful Lac de la Rosière.
In Le Forum, near the Chocolaterie Piste Noire, you will find some excellent shops with ski gear and other clothing, such as North Face or Sun Valley. For activities, try bowling or the climbing wall, which open in the afternoons. The ice rink is a great place for families, with ice skating in the afternoon as well as ice hockey matches and gala shows. Why not visit Piste Noire for a takeaway hot chocolate to keep you warm while you watch? We are open until 20h00 every day!
For smaller children, don’t miss Courchevel’s indoor play centre near the bus stop. It is a lovely space to warm up and play inside. Visit us in the café for a treat afterwards!
The Aquamotion centre is a fantastic swimming pool and spa, open to the public. A fun place for children of all ages, there are slides and an outside pool. Adults will enjoy the relaxation of the spa area with sauna, hammams, plunge pool, jets and a salt pool.
